Here is a older New Haven made and JM stamped Marlin 336-A 30-30 24" lever action rifle. The bore is clean and bright and has strong rifling and the rifle has a great Lyman receiver mounted peep sight and the slot that the factory mounted barrel rear sight was in now has a gunsmiths filler blank, nicely done. The action is smooth and locks up tight and the rifle is perfect for deer and black bear and coyotes wild hogs and other hunting use. The 24" barrel really gets all of the power out of the 30-30 round and with great rounds like Hornady Leverevolution you can get great performance with a longer 24" barrel
