Underwood M1 Carbine semi automatic rifle. It was built in 1944 and chambered in .30 carbine. The receiver is a “B” marked Underwood meaning Singer was contracted by Underwood to supply receivers. The barrel is “Marlin” marked with a bayonet lug barrel band. The stock has a “26” marked on the base of the grip and appears to have been varnished. The metal finish is still original and in great shape. The rifle was rebuilt at an arsenal at some point in its life. The magazine pouch, sling, oiler, and three magazines are included with the rifle.
